Yes, this is another club, "The Australian Hayabusa Club" as apposed to the Australian SUZUKI Hayabusa Club. This is a group of Busa riders in the (south) eastern suburbs of Melb who are dedicated to riding, not talking. Still very much up and running, just didnt need a board as members are in contact by phone.

Hey Deano,

I notice you've been here since late 2001, with ocassional posts. You been to any of our rides? Don't write in a too high and mighty tone when you post in anonimity.

I didn't respond to Peter's post as I felt it was a can of worms that deserves to remain closed, now. Everyone rides with whom they want to, and takes their bike where they want to.

Enough said.

I don't think there was anything "High and Mighty" with Deanno's reply ...............I think he was just answering and explaining there Richard, nothing more. I think to explain it the easy way would be just to say in the early days there was far to much crap and corruption on the board and so a group decided to pull away from it and just do what they liked to do and that is ride there bikes. No tin opening here just saying it as it is, we all ride but sadly not all have the same motivation for doing so and undoubtably from time to time some conflict does and will exist. Aaaaaaaaaaah freedom of choice it's a wonderfull thing to have.

At least having a board open to anyone on the internet gives every body a chance to join if they like ,as opposed to only being in "THE PHONE CLUB"which has limited access.Do these other guys also have a secret hand shake?

Whoa settle their Rocket "Freedom of choice" remember ?
No one is critising your choices, so why are you critical of theirs?? Also who said it was in any way "exclusive" it's simply what they chose to do, and you would also find it's probaly people you also ride with...so where the problem is I fail to see !
SECRET HANDSHAKE I think you must have this confused with the Ku Klux Clan, are you a member Rocket ?

FF1 - My problem with Deano is that he writes

Quote:dedicated to riding, not talking.

The implication being...

The further implication is that since we have a discussion board, then we must all be "talking", not out "riding". Although, his involvement in various discussions over the years has me thinking he has as much time for this board as anybody else.

And since we don't know who he really is, then we can't know for sure, can we.

And lastly, there are many people who post a lot on this board who are "dedicated to riding". Having an active discussion board is not contrary to how dedicated one is to their bike.

Hey I'm dedicated to riding only problem is that u dont c many busa down this way on the road.

I have to ride with my mates on lesser bikes (i'm pretty sure they don't read this board)

Anyway I hope to meet some of u at the MotoGP (I know its a way off but after watching last nights gp I'm hanging out) - I've got a few days free after it so if anyone can give me an idea of some good roads in Vic to go for a squirt, or wouldn't mind someone tagging along or even a ride day it would be appreciated.

There is nothing wrong with freedom of choice,i wouldn't care if there was a 1000 busa clubs my point is how can anyone join this other club, when members are only contacted by phone???????The secret hand shake is in regards to the masons(WHO ARE VERY SECRETIVE)and not the KKK!

so deano, is that why they lurk here anonymously and watch every move we make??? scrutinising every word in every post???? heaven help those who should dare say one word out of place

or are they worried that we may actually be riding and not just talking or was it drinking??? or a bit of both???

Geepers!!! I was'nt refering to this club in any way when I wrote "riding not talking". I was refering to the other club riding not talking!!!! Settle down Richard, no secret handshake Rocket, and well Les .......um........ can't figure out what your problem is???? I have dropped in from time to time and it seems you (Les) enjoy presuming and tearing into anyone who has something to say! Talk about the pot calling the kettle black! The difference between you and I Les, is that I can accept your opinions for what they are. Thanks to FFaster for the support and Bigshow for the humour. Keep it up guys, its worth watching!
