Yep... I know those roads really really well up through that territory. Not many scratching corners.. but lots of medium stuff.
Well.. some of the roads from lancefield can come out near harcourt..depends on which path you take.
I like the area.. but no GOR/Spurs tho... Altho you can come back thru StrathCreek and Flowerdale..

Is the usual Nunnawading/Whittlesea meeting appropriate for the blue/paul ride??
(Sorry, g, but the Sunday is already a write-off for me with family...)
The maccas at whitehorse/springvale corner?
that's the one, then Whittlesea,
or just straight out to Whittlesea?
Id love to make but it seems rides out west are few and far between.Id make it but its a bit rough to get my sister to be here by 7am so I can make the meeting point on the other side of Melb.So maybe next time guys.
Shit... first day back at work after my hollie's.
Oh well, guess I'll see you all after winter.
(Should have a nicer sounding bike by then)

Where's the meeting spot at Whittlesea??? I'm a Westie too, so I'll seeya there...and approx time would be handy too... Unless of course you're going straight east up the Maroondah Hwy and out that way.. To the last I will grapple with thee; from Hell's heart I stab at thee; for Hate's sake I spit my last breath at thee.
Hey Jamie, I'm sure that the others will meet up at the Marsh or something? (S'pose it depends on time).
Blue - the usual meeting spot in Whittlesea is the first servo on the right as you come from Melbourne. And there will be a time.
Oh, and blue, you're apparently leading...
Quote:Has anyone been out through Lancefield, Woodend etc the back way...I think you come out on the Calder near Harcourt, south of Bendigo..
You shouldn't bandy words like that too casually around here...
And Blue, keep a lookout for your mates in 4x4's
Hope you've got your busa kitted out like an unmarked (If not, It's something I may be able to help you with). An Unmarked Busa patrolling the roads with no speed limits for the lucky rider.... where's that police application form...

just unbolt your plate and you become the lucky rider...
At the very least that should procure some more unwanted page 3 publicity (herald-sun 21.05.03)
unbolting your plate is just asking to get pulled over, before you even get to do anything.
how about just making up a false plate. It's only aluminium. chuck on a sticker and presto... just don't get pulled over eh.

Bloody hell! The lengths we go to.
No number plate = $110 fine.
Homemade false number plate = potential $2,000 fine.
Wayne and I are going to Phillip Island again tomorrow.
$150 = no police radars, no gravel on the road, no cages to dodge, no gum trees to hit if you go for a slide and no speed limits. Just no insurance either
Everything has a down side I suppose.
I'm not sure if I can make the ride next Saturday, I'll see what I can do.
