Hi there busa cult member

Oh there is a incentive here. I'll even let you sit on my TURBO'D BUSA.

how much MacBusa tell me how much pleaseeeeeeee
regards Bill
Hi Bill.
Make sure your sitting down.
The kit is $8500 fitted + a power commander. The best investment for a busa I think.
The front wheel is then only required to park the bike....he he he he
Safe Riding.

i was sitting down but taht didnt help the fall to the ground i looked at their website and the price said $4450.00 is that just the kit and they want the same to fit it? ok how does your warranty go with Suzuki now you have installed a turbo? will thay still cover it with the mods?
regards Bill
That price may be american????? as there is a Mr Turbo in the U.S as well. It definately cost as written before because thats how much came out of my (now non-existant) saving account. $8500 + pc
When I decided to by the busa, I decided at the same time it was going to be turbo'd.
Nothing was going to stop me...not even money.
So my way of thinking was if it was still covered by warrenty.....great, if it isn't......so be it.
I still haven't found out if it is covered by warrenty.

Grant welcome to sensory overload ! if you haven't seen it already checkout 'pub31.ezboard.com/bazbiketech
for tips on water inj , gear based boost control, bigger injectors etc.std swingarm will make the first couple of gears hard to use at 10# ,and budget on a good adjustable steering damper.
Do Mr Turbo modify the clutch in anyway?
Greg
For 250hp, the clutch is fine
well MacBusa spoke to Mr Turbo today and somehow me aint going for a $1100/10 hp gain at the moment might spent the $1700.00 and NOS it instead I just cant warrant spending $9100,00 on a turbo that give me an extra 80 Hp oh and By the way the price has gone up it is $8500.00 for the kit and $600 for installation hope urs goes well for ya and maybe one day our paths will cross talk. thanx for the numbers and stuff
cheers Bill
Just wondering what were the options for different turbo's did you possible consider before you decided on Mr Turbo?
My last comment was for the guy who is having the Turbo currently installed.
Bill , have seen your comments and reasoning elsewhere and is valid,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, but none the less I'm interested in how people come to make decisions and on what basis
thanks
Well Gazza I look at it this way for 9k if I dumped that moey into engine mods i reckon i would get more that 250HP all i am saying is for under 2k i can get a 150 shot of nos that would thrill tha shit out of me
I Love my bike and dont really thrash it but on the occasion when some dweeb comes along and wants a run I wont back off so basically my decision lies in that for the power increase and money spent NOS would probobly be a better option for me, sheeh my bike is 2 yrs old and its in now going for its second minor 6k service I ride it when I really feel like riding and dont use it as a daily commuter I ride for pleasure not necessity and with spending a few extra grand on polishing and maybe some custom airbrushing I should have a nice quick bike and hopefully blow away a 250Hp Turo Busa over the 1/4.Hope that explains where I am comming from Gazza
I just can't comprehend how a Turbo kit is worth $8500 and only a lowsy $600 for fitting the Aussie dollar is up so as far as I am concerned $6000 fitted I would pay
Have been to S&R at Penrith and they wanted AUS$12K for about 230hp and if you look at their web site they bad mouth a well known brand that they fitted on Kwaka and had major meltdown. It was a MCxpress kit that a customer had purchased from the USA and they were asked to fit it. Motor blew on the dyno--they said it was the turbo kit.????
Money spent/ horsepower you cant beat a turbo though and unfortunately Mr Turbo kits in the USA are recognised as poor quality/ old technology / low relative output power.
Giggle gas is as you mention an alternative but a 150hp shot ( staged or otherwise ) I dont believe is workable on the street and pistons and exhaust valves will become sacrifical components. 50hp/80hp is more the norm.
Hawkwind is currently installing N20. 2c worth Hawkwind??
