Hotham Ride 6/7th December
#1
Well, Im off on this awsome ride again this year for the first weekend of December. Rough numbers needed to book accomodation (we can confirm on the day). If you have any questions, just ask those who went last year.

And dont say "not enough notice"... a month is heaps of time.

There is definitely a wife and kids disparity on this folder. I feel like a complete slack prick for not attending a single ride day, and this may prove to be another one (or does it count for two?). Besides the country commute to Melb twice a week, all I get is maybe an hour on the weekend to play.
I will be buying some roses and chocys for the other quarter (one qtr me, one qtr wife, one qtr kid, one qtr bus) and maybe cooking some nice dinners between now and the Hotham ride, but I can't guarantee a leave pass for a whole weekend.

No can do that weekend. Sorry bee, would have loved to come...

Would have had input into date, but you didn't reply to email 2-3 months ago

Anyway, as he said - it is a great ride...

(and even if I wasn't pre-booked that weekend, I have a sneaking suspicion I won't be licenced )

Yeah Chopper, I'm not tough at all. I just got miffed with reading about all the bad stuff on the 'busa. Last week I got her tuned at Balls in Melbourne. That Ron fella certainly does a fine job. He also talked a bit of sense into me regarding most of the cheesecake issues. The love affair has started all over again, I even lie awake at night going over my favourite corners (shh, don't tell the wife).

ps Richard, where's the pussy cat icon?

Yeah sorry Demeester, I hadnt bothered organising anything, but my other contingent (if you remember last year i did the ride 2 weekends in a row, one with each group) organised it for the 6/7th so i thought i'd post it and see if anyone else was interested.

Theres 9 going already + whoever can make it from the bus club. Any bike is welcome. Theres 1300's, 1100's, 954's, 750's, 600's and a 250. All speeds (law abiding of course) welcome.

Rocket... i havnt heard a reply.

Any last takers. Maybe all the cheezecakes have melted in the last bout of heat? For all the "riding not..." sigs it disapoints me that your not so keen after all. Maybe im being ostracized (spelling?) for buying that 750.... damn, I knew it would bite me on the ass

Well, I'll take a bunch of pics anyways. Weather forcast is perfect. Enjoy.
