It might have been cold/windy/cloudy and wet, but 7 Busa's, a GSXR750 and a cute pillion turned up at Yea. Gyd and Rev included! The hard core strike again...
Thanks for the T shirts Richard.
Any stories from your trip home Bigshow?
You must have "Balls" to ride back through the spur on a day like today.......
And Shorty ya gotta get some more Klms clocked up on that pristine Gold 99! You'll have a enthusiastic collector wheeling it out of your garage one night.
Until next time. Cheers, Phil.
Riding not talking.
Too right GDY, you got it covered My first riding "outfit"
was a Marlon jacket, & oil soaked Levi's courtesy of Britains finest & when it pissed down all you did was go faster & let the wind dry you out & guess what, it still works
Nowadays you have all this poofy wet weather gear & still they quake at the thought of getting the little tootsies all moist & so uncomfy
Find some backbone boys & do what Ernie Dingo says
"gooowarn, get out there"
I have a feeling that will not be the last time Marmalades will be the spot...
i did eventually get out yesterday, noticed a blue silver busa with a pillion coming into Whittlesea from Yea. was gobsmacked with the amount of bikes out. a few wet weather riders around. will make a better effort next week to keep appointments.
Ressac - You are now the winner of the inaugural cheesecake award...
For those of you that didnt go the black spur after marmalades, the black spur was as dry as a bone.... I know, I couldnt believe it either! Some nice paced riding was done until flogger2002 (is it flogger or fodder?) decided he was two tired and layed down for a rest.... unfortionately he was still travelling at speed at the time. No injuries except the ego.
Reesac.... time to don your "P" plates (P for Piker that is!)
Thanks for the advice gdyup. Will have to lock family up for a few weekends and throw away the key WTFWT
Works for me Shorty........
Cheers, Phil.
it is an honour to receive such an award, Richard. My thank you speech is brief, I have noone to thank except myself. And I promise to uphold all those values the cheescake represents.
ps. I prefer a dry white when eating my cheesecake.
