If I had to travel on Melburnistan roads DAILY, I'd get a Road Angel fitted
There are just too many ridiculous speed limit changes to keep up with.
Digital read out gives speed limits for your present GPS calculated location & also warns of fixed speed camera locations. Can also warn of mobile camera's from phoned in locations by existing users
These conditions really suck for you Southerners.
Time to make a stand and move interstate fellas.
I think I'll pass on the GP this year. I'm heading up to the Indy race at the Gold Coast instead.
Hope to see you there.

P.S. 3 of my mates are doing the same.
I just want to know how many MP's and cops get pinged for speeding.
You know those guys who claim the whole "zero tolerance" charade is a good thing. How often do they get done? How often do they check their speed while being driven around?
Soon after they had installed a speed and red light camera at one intersection I negotiate every morning, I was interested to observe several speeding motorists flashed as they sped through the intersection on a green - one day about 7 were done during the one cycle of lights - I thought it might have gone on the blink.
Must admit someone ran a very late red there one day - and nearly took out two of us as we headed through on the green (we were a little more interested in our respective steeds than we should have been as I have a rule to ENSURE an intersection is safe before I cross it - a self preservation thingy). So I can see the need for improved driver awareness at that intersection (although I could argue that the camera would have merely taken a really good picture of two bikes testing the car's crumple zones - and not addressed the fact that some drivers are just not suited to be on the road).
BUSGO - have you been to the Indy previously ??? Mate - take the binoculars, it is a real eye-opener.

How many MP's , cops etc pinged for speeding ?
Plenty, they never understood the law of averages either
Even the TAC managed to rack up 20 odd tickets
It's all there in the newspapers (for now)
I think the people (us) should be told how many of the so-called road safety police are done. But it would be interesting to know the average amount of police that have been done for speeding, would be interesting either way.
Go 300 - Have not been to Indy but did the first two F1 GPs in Adelaide and then the last one before it went to Melbourne.
Love the Gold Coast and will always find an excuse to visit.
From what I've experienced up that way the cops are only looking for hoons on P plates and chatting up young female tourists.
Back to the speed cameras mounted on red lights.
.......
Riding down the Old road (Mt White) on the weekend , surprise there was a leech on his knees with a hair dryer with his car facing the opposite direction as the traffic (one way) his gun reads the speed it activates the digital cameras front and rear and he has you Zoomed up as well, so if you dont see them hiding ,dont worry you will have the love letter on its way.
Being in an official position & getting pinged is one thing, not paying the fine & having warrant's issued against you is another
