a couple years ago when i was 18 i owned a tx3turbo was lowered had 17inch chromies some other choice bling etc etc you know the whole ricer seen thing going except mine was compley legal ride height was legal and all I would be stopped everynight on my way home form work and had my car searched and inspected given i did finish at 2am and had to drive through the city but every friggen night and it was the same coppers most nights that re-inspected my car. finally i got jack of it and bought a new car a xr6turbo ute me thinking it was still fast and cool but had the only an older more mature person could afford one look and i didnt need to display my p plates but no same F@#KED up thing every night. I had a brand new vehcile inspected 7 F%$king times before i made a complaint about it. the only reason they had to pull me over wait for it...........a young looking person driving late at night looking liek im gonna do a burno out or some such shit!!!!!!try being young this government hates young people hates them with a vengance. people in australia feel sorry for people in countries that have ruthless leaders thinking we have a free and happy country well what most people dont realise is that our leaders are ruthless there just smarter and sneaker about it

I agree to a point Dan, this government loves to steal money from enthusiasts and can quite happily call it revenue, but when was the last time you had to dodge a land mine or bullets to get the milk from the corner store?

Perhaps a little perspective might be in order, hmmmm?

you know what shits me more about us aussie then anything else???

YOU R ALL TALK!

FFS! this is our land, our life and we LET the friggin gov & coppers tell US how we HAVE to live.

Now.. I might have missed something here... but we pay for them to say this right?
What will it take for Australians to get up off their arse's and actually do something about it?? "Busa riders always count in three's.... 100, 200, 300"

Well why not start by everybody going to the bike protest ride early next year in Vic regarding the withdrawal of the $50 levy ?

Bikers in Tasmania managed to pressure their MP's to get rid of impending legislation that would have resulted in a "levy"
against them as well. We all know what happens to the money once it goes into general revenue.

They get highly paid political appointee'$ (mate$) to advi$e them to whack a few dodgy signs up saying " motorcycle hazard area ahead". Haven't seen any attempts to improve road conditions or hazards in the same area's in my travels though.

And while we're on the subject, just how is it that the very people who's livelihoods depend on motorcycles sales always seem to assume a low profile in the big picture scheme of things ?

I've been to a few protest rides over the years & never saw anybody representing motorcycle traders making themselves generally known or backing the people who put bread & butter on their tables. Go to a race meeting though & there they all are, getting involved.

If Bracksy could legislate bikes off the roads tomorrow, he'd do it in a heartbeat, question is......would we let him ?
