I gotta agree too Bruce, those 60' times are really hard. Mine just wants to bog, hope to tune that out in the near future.

Also only pulling 210-215klm in top speed that seems slow to me. The dyno says I got 180bhp but that doesnt seem to show in speed. Got me buggered.
Simmo wernt you getting like 220kph and more?

60ft's might be due to a bit of tyre warming. I was having so much fun they told me to cut down on the burnout . Bridgie 014s thro good smoke.

Time for your ANDRA license with that one mate. I'll be celebrating when I get a 10.3 on the scorecard. Maybe the flintstones bike needs more time at the drags. Regards

Bruce,

I did 11.6 at 214km/h

My 60' times are 2.1 or worse. My bike dynoed at 163

Maybe you're not tucking in behind the bike well, because you seem to start off MUCH quicker, but end up the same speed as me... ???

Bruce,

Post your incrementals and will try and work out your speed prob.

Btw I hear my little mate on his R1 was giving you a hard time? - don't worry Bruce I sorted him out - I offered him a ride on my Busa .
Have to see if he takes it up.....

That would be Scotty, great guy and very fast out of the hole. He beat me running around 10.5's on the first dozen passes then I got him on the last 3 runs .

Here are the details of my best 2 runs all night. Keep in mind that im old and my nerves are shot

R/T - .236
60' - 1.903
330'- 4.728
660' - 6.961
mph - 109.73
1000' - 8.887
ET - 10.551
mph - 134.77
k/mh - 216.89

R/T - .213
60' - 1.919
330'- 4.721
660' - 6.956
mph - 109.86
1000' - 8.884
ET - 10.549
mph - 134.95
k/mh - 217.19

That was also my best top speed.

Best 60' time was 1.892 but E/T was only 10.623 @134.16 so must have stuffed up somehow there.
I should try bracket racing there was only a couple of tenths difference in most of my times. Consistent hey, consistently average .
I would appreciate any advice I certainly need it.

Just got off the phone to Shane (aBUSa) in Brissy who has the same bike as me and runs 10.1, bastard.

My mum told me the air is thinner the further up you go, so I figure they have less wind resistance.

We'll see how "they" go here in WSID...

I ended up with 10 out of 15 runs in the low 1.9's must have been from trying to catch up with the 12 year old 40kg jockey10 lengths in front of me on a R1.

He had a rough idea how to ride, better monos than you rob and thats saying something. The officials had a go at him after he popped it for nearly the length of the return road.
Show off.
