Col @ 10 tenths
#1
Picked the bike up from 10 tenths today Col did the mods below

Airbox mod
Weld the clutch (BTL)
Heavier clutch springs
TPS mod and remaped the powercommander.

I was really impressed by Col he seems to know his stuff and did a beautiful job. She now runs sweet as - smooth on constant throttle no more surges and much crisper everywhere.

I highly recommend his work.

Took her straight to WSID from Cols shop, guys you missed the best night ever, the rain late this afternoon must have kept everyone away. There were 4 bikes and maybe 40-50 cars. It was hectic as hell, no sooner did we finish our run and we were up again. I had a total of 15 runs and I sat 2 out to have a smoke .

Had 4 runs in the 10.8's, 3 in the 10.7's, five in the 10.6's and 2 in the 10.5's with a best run of 10.549. Awsome night.

My best 60ft was a lousy 1.89 so still a very long way to go.

I was at Col's at 2:40pm. Did I miss you by much?

Wow, 15 runs @ WSID!

There were 4 of us at Parra mocha madness:

Simmo had 3 runs to the toilet, 01Busa did 4 runs to his bike when an L-plater was practicing his reverse parking, and 1hotBusa eventually ran home.

Best time was 10.6 (Simmo to the dunny), followed closely by a 10.8 by 01Busa to stare at the L-plater.

WELL DONE BRUCE!!!
(are you up for a spin to Newcastle on Saturday morning?)

Bruce, if you wouldnt mind would you let us / board know what the cost is to have these mods done, as many seem to ask about these in particular.
thanks

No prob Gazza,
Cost $685.00 which included the above work and supply and fit new front sprocked.

Exactly as he quoted which makes a nice change.
I appreciated that he spent time showing and explaining to me the wet NOS kits, big bore kits, high compression standard bore kits, yoshi cams and even went through the pro's and cons of each.
All good info from someone who obviously knows what he's talking about. Still undecided which way to go tho. Bruce

Bruce , if I understand the story correctly, then you may want to edit your 1st post where it mentions " remap the powercommander" to remap the std Suzuki ECU.
Is this correct.
Some back ground info that led to this decision would be interesting with the mods you have on your bike at present.

Only if you lend him the money first though RAZ he's going to need every penny to get his gas guzzler there. Probably have to work as a male prostitute to get enough gas money to get home though, about $2K should cover it eh Rob.
