Back to DAN,
Apart from all the other advantages if you ever want to take a lady with you, forget the 12.
The BUSA gives better padding, width and depth on the back seat and they are in much better mood to party at the end of the ride.

For the fuel consumption ZX12 14 KPL v Busa 18 KPL.

Dan the question here is why would you ask the busa owners which is the best bike to buy?Of course they are gunna say the busa. And if you go to the zx12 board they are gunna say the 12. My answer was trying to be impartial as i can be,seeing as i dont own a busa anymore.
What busgo says about the seat is 100% on the money.
My mate who owns a 12 says his misses absolutley hates the back seat and refuses to go on it for that very reason, but then she was comming off the back of a viffer(his previous bike). Phuck its the phantom!

Geeze talk about steal the topic you old farts! and Honduh riders.
Hey Dan watch the Canberra Sippers and come along to say G'day if you like. We are always looking for people who ride Hire Buses to drink and ride with. Heidi and I end up drinking a lot of coffee waiting for the other "gang members" to turn up on Wednesday nights when I'm not working
We're the shy ones sitting near the windows at Fithy's in Oconno watching the bikes while we eat/drink and do the Bikes babes (here insert Boys for Heidi) and bullshit thing.

Cheers

Dan ,the reason i bought the honda was because of where i live and the roads i ride mainly. The busa is a great bike for what it was designed for(open rd blasting)but in these days of and cameras everywhere, you just cant use the potential of the bike.Because i live near tight winding mountain roads,i found the busa just too heavy and hard work punting around. Not that it cant be punted hard on winding roads, its just a big effort thats all.I find the honda much more nimble, plus it is also capable of being a comfortable tourer, thats why i didnt go out and get a pure sports bike.
As i have said before, there are a lot of guys who buy a busa for the bragging rights, not because of what the bike is capable of. Phuck its the phantom!

Dan try to get a ride on each and see what suits you,
My biggest problem with the 12 is the seat, way firmer than the busa , my mate i had swapped rides with also commented the busa seat was much more comfortable.
