Hi Grant just a little reply for you

I was looking at doing this as you might recall but after long discussions with spray painters and powder coaters the cost wasnt all that expensive the painting of the frame in satin 2 pack was going to be around $150.00 that was if i supplied them just the frame a lot more if they had to strip the bike the bad side to all this is if you ever want to sell your pride and joy you will lose money painting the frame or polishing it the bike yards will take of $1000s because they all say the same thing if it has been polished or painted it has been crashed even if it hasnt and the resale value isnt there

so i guess the final decission is upto the owner of the bike

hope I have helped Regards Bill

Heya Bill,

yeah i see where ya coming from... and your right, they do suspect something, but the way i see it is, my bike is fairly unique, and it should hold it's value alright... and i'll never sell to a bike shop, they always give ya nothin for ya bikes... (compared to what it is worth)

It's just not frame i'm doing, i'm doing the swingarm too, and other bit and pieces on the bike...

If and when i sell it, and the buyer saying it's been painted cause of a crash, i'll ell him the truth and it's his loss if he has a attiude like that... i'll sell to someone else....

Thansk for the reply mate... i'm still gunna do the frame/swingarm.... i want it how i've always wanted it... and i'll be striping it my self... i was gunna do it tonight but i came across a drama... i locked my hump on to the rear seat area and i forgot to hook the key cable that releases the lock.... so i've been tryin to get this stupid hump off with no luck...

Cheers Bill, thanks for your reply.

I'm colour blind. Black is my favourite colour.
