Hi guys I know there is a lot of colombians(victorians) in the club but TASSIE? not really practical for (mexicans(nsw)and a real tough ask for those of us in god's country( Queensland but then you knew that already)
How about somewhere parkes/dubbo (christ knows if there is any thing to do there) but somewhere that is a good long ride from here a good ride from melb and even a good run for sydneysiders? just a thought

Hi all
All I can add at this point is that the place needs to be reasonably central to all on the east coast. Yes parks maybe but as we know Sydney is half way from QLD & VIC. So to make it fare the NSW riders need to travel a little. So at this point if we can agree on that west of Sydney would work, then we can look around for a destination that may have some attractions on at that time. This will help narrow down the possibilities. Sorry to the WA. But where do we draw the line.

O.K. how about Tamworth- It's on the end of the Putty Rd, good for Syd riders, it's at the start of the Oxley Hwy, good from the coast, heaps of accomm of all types and plenty of livestock for all the lonely riders ........Graeme.

Ok ,this is turning into another popcorn moment me thinks.Heres my 2c worth. It depends what you guys want out of this.If you want just a general club get together then it really doesnt matter were the hell it is,but if you want a really memorable ride, then tassies the go,i'm telling you it is biking mecca.I've ridden and a lot of the east coast and sure there are some great roads, but as an overall package, tassie's it.For you NSW ppl, there is a boat that will take you straight there, and Queenslanders can commute to Sydney.I know the only downside to this is the time factor involved. Unfortunately when organising something like this you are not going to make everybody happy, but we must lay something down or this post will go on for months with no resolve.....whats the thoughts????

Somwhere more central than Tassie, Tasi is too far for QLD
riders, too much water for anyone north of Albury. Somewhere in Central NSW would even up the ride for everyone without the time and expense of crossing the water. IAnywhere from Jindabyne to the Oxley (one a long way for Qld's and the other a long way for the Mexicans. Gotta be a balanced view on this somehow. Max (sorry for stirring the pot but Tasi seems far too far and expensive) Madmax - GSX1300R Black and Blue Buses Rule Good Bike, Good Woman, Good Road, Good Weather, Good God - Good Bye! Why not put up a vote system? The people who are organising
this, you people pick say two or three place's that we can go Then we all vote. The place that end's up with the most vote's thats where we go, No if's but's or maybe's and you can only vote once.So what you reckon?...My 2 cents worth Black & Blue Busa's Rule

That is it, Rod. Tassie is a good idea for a Vics "Let's go riding for a while". I think that somewhere in NSW, and if it is to the West of the state, we may even get a couple from SA coming.

It would be great if it was done here (i can definitely vouch for the roads) but from a numbers point of view there would be more takers if it was somewhere more central on the east coast.
I don't mind where it is - the opportunity for x number of busa's in the same place on any half decent road is too good to pass-up Rod I hope you enjoyed your play time down here

Snowy roads sounds good Max, we could send out a couple of spotters for coppers down there as the loop (320klms) can be organised for spotting, like a forward scout. We would need this were ever we went . Jindabyne is the place.

I have just got off the phone with Perry Morison – General Manager Suzuki whos is finally back at the office after a number of overseas trips.
He said he is most interested in the concept and now that he is back he will be doing some in house discussions to see with what sort of participation Suzuki can offer. After which he will make contact with me for further discussions. He aknowledges the strength and loyalty of the busa club to their bike and Suzuki in general and complimented the growth and commitment of the club to the Hayabusa. He made comment that on first glance he wouldnt particularly like to mirror Honda's event which are usually held at Jindabyne but rather to make a uniqely different event though perhaps with some of same style but not necessarily at same venue. Cosiderations to alternatives will be discussed on. He promised to get back to me in a week or so. So there you have it for now, as soon as I have some more information I will update you all.

Its not at Jindabyne anymore its at Thredbo the powers decided to take it out of Jindabyne and to thredbo for undesclosed reasons??? Anyway Thredbo was a big ripp-off as far as I was concerned.

Well done Volvi. We will need to wait to see what Suzuki comes up with. They will probability dictate where & when the event will take place. As others have done. But at least the ride will take place.
