I spent about an hour looking at all the pics in the members and club photo's area and there are some great shots of our bikes ..
I ask this; why don't we make a ozbusa calender with members bikes showing in it... ?
Has that thought been said b4.. Has one already been secretly released with out me getting one.. ?
I'm happy to help organise one?
Any feedback? Cheers.Grantwww.blingpartsaustralia.com.au
dunno the costs.. Have we got someone on here that does that sorta thing... or do they know someone...?
Maybe we could start a Thread in the members photo section where everyone can place there 'best 3 pics of their busa' and we can all vote or decide which pics go into the calendar at a later date?
I'm happy to help as much as I can.. Cheers.Grantwww.blingpartsaustralia.com.au Edited by: MacBusa at: 3/9/06 2:35 pm
That sounds like a great idea Grant.
I bet there will be a scramble to get the photos selected for it.

Yeah me! I photograph model calanders (bad job i know) i have most of the contacts and a heap of models , if you want them there that is. But a 14 month calander with 2 A3 pages i.e bike on top numbers down the bottom costs about $11 per calander for a 1000 run. Cheaper if you get more but i might be able to get a better price and we could put some bike shops on there as sponsorship to pay for it Webdesigner, Photographer and all round hoon :)
well i thought it was a great idea but stuff all interest from people.. so i guess thats where it'll end, here..
Thankyou anyways Doohan.. Cheers.Grantwww.blingpartsaustralia.com.au Edited by: MacBusa at: 4/9/06 8:08 pm
Mr Tony would be interested in purchasing one. His bike isn't blingey enough to be photographed. He won't be purchasing one if there are nekid females in it tho. Nah I don't care. But he will only be able to have it hanging in the toilet.

I think it is a Great Idea!!!!
Blue Thunder!!!!
Andrew :)
Blue and Silver Bling the Best thing!!!!!
What makes you think there is no interest?
For every response you get on this board there are probably another 20 or so other lurkers. Plus some members only visit once or twice a week.
I would be happy to submit a photo or two that are not already in the gallery.

I your interested in it, and think i'd work post up..
I think it's a great idea about the sponsers help paying for the costs...
Wonder how much for a couple of hundred calenders maybe more?
Sorry in a crappy mood... been doin bookwork all day... plus GST shit... Cheers.Grantwww.blingpartsaustralia.com.au
OK Grant,
Here is one of my bike from the Nymboida run.
And another of M8EE with Shane and Angela onboard, also at Nymboida.
Of course if the photos are resized and lose quality, it makes it hard to judge their suitability for publishing.

If pics aren't of quality i.e 300dpi and/or 6MP. I'd be more than happy to meet everyone somewhere and do a day shoot for it. Webdesigner, Photographer and all round hoon :)
ok well.. i think we need to look at the feasability of getting it going... Who's going to print it, design it, get the up front costs and what we'd sell it for and how much support we get from business and etc...
Hold onto your pics... I'll start a pic thread in the members photo area at a later date..
Just gotta get ideas and numbers running first..
(BTW... nice pics busgo.. )

My mother and her friend have just had a Vic rock calender done, some kind of country music thing (dont ask I dont know) last count for 750 they spent about $7500, including the photographer, but they did all the layout wort etc. I'm sure you could get them done for less, but from what I've seen, there's a hell of a lot of work involved.
