Nothing with mine Gazza, I'm just after a spare block / engine for a project.

ok, $250USD will get you a block plus shipping of at least $50USD. --as Greg mentioned boring and plating is over $400USd now but still way better than the mob in Victoria.

Gazza, would you be able to give me directions where in the US to look - I've been looking for a while and haven't been able to locate one.
If you dont mind just leave a PM - much appreciated

Do you want a stock bore block in excellent condition or a block suitable for boring and plating?
30-08-2006, 08:48am
Gazza either would be fine - in the end I'm playing around with a bored and maybe stroke motor.

The difference between a good block suitable for running and one that is junked suitable for boring is alota $$$$
Buy a junked block from the states and have them bored and plated for ya ..APE do such a deal. I'll be talking with a guy in a few days who I know has perfect blocks for sale BUT you dont need that if you are sure you want to go oversize...I'll ask if he has any meltdowns for sale...... will be a few days or early nxt week before I can get back to you.

Sorry Evero, couldnt help ya out on the dollars..guy wants $300US for them and will ship where ever you like
US ebay is another option although it can be a lottery ticket. and on the *.org site when they come up.
