I can't get onto the dyno till 20th July, so will just have to wait.
Inerested in the numbers being bandied about and armed with that info, will find out how mine ends up.
Question! Do the K&N filters go straight in or do you have to mod the airbox?

The pair is blocked off as far as i know,i plugged the airbox( fat hose and the thin hose to the throttle bodies myself. The original lean blue line unmapped made quite good power just poor acceleration.Wouldn,t 12.8:1 make less power. My vfr made best power around 14:1 and that did plenty of track days no problems but i don,t tune bikes so i,m open to other suggestions.I think josh babied the bike from new so would that show up on a leak down test?Or is it just varied deck heights and bearing clearances between monday and friday bikes. My back tyre actually looks fine and the track was quite tacky,it just had NO cold grip, easy fixed next time. torque was 98ft/lb.I didn,t decide anything i left it to dave.I might have to learnabout playing with the mapping.Dave would alter it for zip if I wasn,t happy.Interestingly the latest 2 wheels has the zx14 at 166hp on the same dyno.how much power would i lose at 12.8:1? Glenn the Spa Man

I took the bike for a short ride in a closed off road area to get a feel for it.It feels a little softer around 2000rpm but has the same torque by 3000rpm(77ft/lbs).The throttle is much less snatchy yet still crisp.the sound is in synch with the induction and is quite quiet at part throttle and builds to a scream. The biggest dynamic change i,ve noticed is from the front forks and the less weight hanging off the sides. The bike is MUCH more flickable now.I looked on hayabusa org and most guys are getting 166-168hp from their Muzzy,Akropovic and Ti force systems so I feel A little better about that. The brock Hindle seem to read the highest but have less torque. In regards to mixture settings it looks like I,ll need a lap top as dave has left enough variation in the fuel trim sliders to richen it up if I wish whilst retaining the current map.I just want to get out to the track or drags and do some good times.Better brakes are next on the agenda.Dad just fitted a new 16/19 brembo billet radial master cylinder that has taken his set up to a new level again.Good forks, good brakes, good throttle on = good lap times,i,m just missing the brakes then there's no excuses.
