Hey ! Lucky me... this thread now has the same number of posts as our bikes have CC's.
Err... yes it was pissing down especially this morning. Wind was so strong it nearly blew me off the Ferry wharf. They say its going to rain all weekend. Great. First weekend I could potentially have off in the past month and its gonna rain ! Positive thinking... it will not rain... it will be sunny and dry.... it will not be freezing friggin' cold..... it will not rain.... The older I get, the better I was. Regards.... Richard yes it is Astor, ask for Richard there tell him your from the Hayabusa club and he will look after you, don't deal with anyone else there. You have to get your parts cleaned up the best you can the better you get them the cheaper it is, most of the cost is cleaning of them up.

Hi Simmo. I went in to pick stuff up 2 weeks after giving it to them , as agreed. They then tell me it's not all done, and half the stuff they had done didn't have a smooth finish or had "nickel burn" (a kind of brown colour in the grooves), so they said they would PAINT THOSE BITS SILVER!!! (that's the best they could do. They also said the bits that weren't smooth needed copper plating, then to be re-chromed.... at extra cost.
I didn't have much choice, but still felt annoyed as I handed over an extra $100. They told me it would be a few days. I called 2 weeks later!!!! ...and Paula says, "I'm on the other line, I'll call you back in 5 minutes". I called back 2 days later (she didn't call back) and she says, "sorry, I've been sick, but it'll be done by Monday"!!! So far the customer service is ordinary, the price ain't cheap and the quality of the finish ain't great either. Bruce's stuff turned out well, so I don't know what's wrong!!! I hope to pick up the rest of my stuff next week, though I'm off to Melbourne, so it may be another week... "sometimes crime does pay"

Simmo thanks for the info, I'll look into what I want to get
done. I may have a BIGGER BIG BLOCK that I will have to get sorted out first, just have to see how much the parts will set me back. I may get the motor parts and put them aside and bling the bike up a bit more. But I'd love some more HP to play with, it'd be cool to pull 220 to 240 HP N/A, give the Turbo boys something to think about Regards Richard “98% of all Harleys ever sold are still on the road. No worries Richard and good luck with all of it
Pan unless you smile & chat up Paula your parts will take some time, as for finish my dash cover was the only thing that was not spot on but they would have re-done it at no extra charge if required but it ok, they do get very busy there at times, a bit of a smile and chat and your parts can get turned around in a couple of days like my swinging arm, would you like me to go in and sort them out for you but it will cost you a bunch of flowers or a box of chocolates for Paula ps the copper plating was cheap still paying of the chocolates & flowers but Cheers Robert Aren't all Busas Copper & Plated, the others are just all very poor slow ugly copies !!!!!
