If you can remember Corpse.. I did ask for physical measurements as the specs had the bike 90mm over the wheel base plus 2xtyre radius. And I did find out that the extra length was due to tail light ver hang lol
My tray with tailgate down is about 20mm shorter than bike length less tail light over hange so. Got no issues there.
With ramps here all I need to do is make a holding channel, add some securing points and get a descent bike cover to reduce rubbing wear on paint work.
Plus work out how to fit 1/2 a house in the 4x4 to make "She who must be obeyed" happy lol

I must have either drank too much or not enough as I though I posted here recently lol

For anyone that is thinking of an East Coast purchase but transport costs put you off I am will to help with getting things from East to West, or vice versa. Now just re,ember that I will have the 4x4 pretty full as the Minister of Finance needs her luggage lol but I think I could find room??

Also if it's a bike, then as long as East Coast guy can loan a registered trailer for 3 weeks I could tow bike across and bring back empty trailer but will need some help with extra fuel for tow load. But can't do it the other way around so trailer stays on East Coast

Not trying to earn money as a transporter, just seeing if I can help anyone out.

Nice offer there Batty, just read your previous post.
Be very careful of what cover you put on the bike
on the way over. You could end up doing more damage
than good to that BRIGHT YELLOW paint work.
If it were me I wouldn't use one at all.

I know what you're saying duc, even a fleece lined cover could end up causing rub marks with the constant movement by the wind.

I'd discussed covers with the guys I'm coming to Tassie with and had the same concerns, and it was suggested that the plastic wrap we use on our pallets at work might be a good option. Not the shrink stuff that you apply heat to, but more the stuff that's like a heavy duty cling wrap..
It would be easy to apply, easy to remove, and shouldn't cause any damage to anything...even if it was to come loose....

My concern wasn't so much the weather, cause bikes are sup[posed to survive travelling LOL, but having the bike in view.

Don't want any scum being attracted to a bright yellow busa on the back of the 4x4 while I sleep. I know they wont be able to get her off (unless they can both cut padlocks AND lift 270kg physically off without making a racket and being conspicuous.

if no one knows I have finally gotten details sorted for a AHC hoodie in a lot of bike colours.. and I would like to offer to the WA crew a once off deal.

IF you can get an order in now and IF it can be made in 4 weeks then I am happy to bring it to the Domination run saving you postage. I know not a great offer but better than anyone else has so far LOL
