Front fork adjusters....
#1
The previous owner of my Busa appears to have used multi grips/vice grips to adjust the setting for soft to hard on the front forks. These bolts are ordinary to me and i think they need to be replaced as this lets lets the beast down.... Any suggestions of an easy way of doing this?

Not a great picture but you get what I am trying to do I hope.

Many thanks in advance.

there not cheap to buy new last time i think i saw 1 was round the 200 range.
chance are a second hand pair of forks will be damaged as well.
You could stuff the next set in one go if the tool you decide to use isn't right, you don't need multi grips to damage them its soft anyway.

the forks have to come apart to replace so more cost if you cant do yourself.
You could put some sort of cap over them to hide it.
Change the top plate to an after market version which has clearance around the fork & put on some hand adjusters
on the top this would both hide & make changing the setting easy.
just a thought
