Maybe a couple of strategic nukes to wipe out the oil belt will both remove a lot of the hot zones and make big business get serious about a usable non oil based fuels...

Really what the west should do is just let them to own means of survival,and do head count after they finish with each other, at least we wont loose any more of our heroes.

Well that's a good argument and one that is being floated by the Greens. Where did it get us last time? What did we learn? Greens argument is we should be helping these countries defeat these extremists in other ways besides us getting involved in the war. It's really their war, we should help as best we can and lots we can do without going in. But we are there again and time will tell.

That's true but it isn't just this mob. There are groups and even governments acting like this daily in many countries.
