Hi AHC, it's been a long time in the making...

Thanks Pete you got me to remember lol

full lock RH could get revs up on std system with bar risers due to wrongly routed cable

Full lock LH DID get revs up from choke cable with bar risers

You need to reroute choke cable to stop it... Or remember to push choke back home after each LH full lock like I did lol

Or if no bar risers maybe a bad cable routing anyway?

Cheers Tony, nah no risers or anything that I can see so I'm hoping it's just something simple like the cable getting caught on something. Ooooh the link to the service manual would be great!

Also the idling thing is starting to annoy me now, just came back from a ride and was holding my breath at each red light. It just seems to struggle a bit, I'll get the idle raised but I'm hoping it's something simple like that.

Best thing was waiting at a set of lights and an older pakistani dude pulled up next to me in a camry, wound the window down and proceeded to tell me how f&$#ng sick the bike was. And he kept saying it over and over, his wife was rolling her eyes and looked real embarrassed LOL

Idle speed should be 1050 to 1250rpm. I prefer mine at the upper end of the adjustment range.

Busa, GSX1400, B-King. All great bikes.
All have their down sides.
It's just which one suits the rider.

I had two Busa's together with double bubble screens.
They suited me, I like them, and yes, I like to ride with my body weight forward
and I couldn't see the clocks either !

Tony your garage lineup is what I'd have in a perfect world. Busa, BKing and GSX1400 is what I'd love to have. I would struggle to pick one to ride though!

Awesome stuff Tone, cheers mate - that will definitely come in handy!!

Gave it a decent scrub on Sunday while the weather was good. Just need to find some paddock stands now as my old ones wont fit it lol.

Dropped it off at the shop too so they can change the grips, fix the throttle and take a look at the idle issue.
