(I used to race in the mags Ultimate Streetbike series) may remember the then editor "Sonic".

John went on to bigger and better things in the media and moved on.

Recently found out he's the Guy they have held for the last two years and is in the latest I.S. vids.
He survived some big bike "offs" and I hope get through this.

Religion is the only common thing among the hundreds of tribes there, so it got highjacked as an ideological glue to unite them in their fight for freedom. Nothing more. You can take verses out of context from any book and twist it into anything you want. Why do their want to attack Australia? Because our cretin government is one of the US minions supporting this status quo. What business do we have in Afganistan or Irak? Do they threatten our boders or interests? I do not support or condone killing innocent women & children in indiscriminate bombings. But they do not have laser guided bombs and sattelite missiles. However they have a resolve and deadly determination and will strike with whatever they can get wherever it will hurt. Mind you there was never an instance in history that nations fighting for freedom ever stopped. And they will not either. And while you think that killing few "terrorists" will solve the problem, another hundred are being born.
