Well i got the GSX1400 back today. I love it. The bars and the "jack up" kit make it feel like a streetfighter.I prefer it black and i like the twin lights.

That looks great.

The lights and the tank cover and bars only help with that
big solid bike look. Very nice.

3,500k's of tinkering and I'm done.
Played with front preload, rebound and compression, rear preload, compression and rebound.
Started with MCN suspension guide, various tyre pressures and with / without 30mm jack-up blocks.
Doubt I can improve further without spending $$'s and the rest of the bike doesn't justify that.

80,000+ K's,
15 year old suspension,
original rubber brake lines,
rock hard old Conti-Force touring tyre on the back,
still got the original rear guard and indicators,

I bloody love it!

Today.....

Well I stripped the rear end of the GSX1400 to install an undertray. I really hope I remember how to put it back together. I get the undertray tomorrow ;)

I gave my B King a rest last weekend .
Bought myself a 2010 Suzuki V Strom DL 1000.
Picked it up last Friday and rode out to Jandowae Hotel on the Saturday [720k]. The longer I rode it the more pleasurable it got.
Very comfortable ride over the bumpy Queensland country roads.
Economical too and great range from the 22lt tank...Very Happy

I put the old boy back together with a clear tail light to match the old girl. The ermax undertray fitted perfect although the indicators broke so i had to get another set. Ill look at changing to LED at a later date.

Now time to spend some TLC and money on the busa. But what to get....................

Found just over 4k's of road I didn't know was there !
Not that unusual, but its similar to Clear Mt Rd and quite close to home.

I thought being 80kg, no pillion, removing the hero bolts, firm suspension and a taller rear tyre
I was safe from ever touching the pegs down again, hanging off today I got a familiar "Krkrkrkrkrkrkrkr"
sound but couldn't work out where from. Turns out the side stand is the next thing to touch!
Very silly, but I'm easily entertained.
