Just a question guys, I have a 2000 model blue and silver still the best! Do all busa's sound a bit like a tractor at certain revs! Mine does at acceleration mainly 1st and 2nd it has a full akro system on it , cheers!

If it's at idle could be a loose cam chain. It must be a loud noise to hear it over the exhaust system. Is it using oil or down on power? Does it just sound noisy, or does it sound like something floating about in there? - You haven't added any Harley parts to it have you?

Using no oil plenty of power, I just have not rode a Busa before I bought this one, I have a 08 xjr1300 as well and no noise, no noise at idle either

Is sound from engine eg. Like a diesle rattle? or from the arse meaning thats the pipes?
Sure its not a Harley? cos thats what mine sounds like under high gear, low revs and high load! lol

Yep sounds a bit like a diesel rattle from engine not the rear exhaust, not bad but strange!

Might sound like stupid question but has it always sounded like it?. From time you bought it? Has this just started? if so could be a batch of bad fuel! Pi_freak

as was stated earlyer it could be pingen its arse off! Scary

cam chain
does it have the latest update tensioner with the hydraulic assist
there will be a sticker under the hump and the tensioner will have a hose from the oil gallery to the top of the tensioner
