For a light weight like me (56kg) I found the Suzuki gel seat firmer than the original bike seat. Real people might find it more to their likingPi_tongue

I have no dramas with the origonal but have not been on any long rides yet either so would appreciate any comments. Thanks

I use the gel for shorter trips and the stock for longer. the gel is firmer, the stock softer and absorbs bumps better. The gel looks better with the hump; the stock rider/pillion seats match but the gel and stock pillion just don't look right. Just me, I'm probably too fussy.

Got the Gel on my Gen 2 done 18k on it now, probably only worth it if you're into the 'Form before function' thing. It does look the part but I don't find it any more comfortable than the standard pad .

If you want a soft seat, buy a Gold-Wing Pi_freak

I brought a gel seat for my Triumph tiger and found it worse than the original, thin layer of gel soon moves out of the weight bearing areas and leaves you with a more firm base
think the tiger is going to get a sheepskin , good thing i have a busa for long trips :)
