singapore parking (ships)
#1
Been stuck in this shittyy part of Singapore for 3 weeks - 'parking' is always a problem. You've just got to push your way in, just like a Westfield Shopping Centre - if you're polite, you miss out!

Getting off Skandi Falcon this week after two years. She may be sold here $10M ?, or go back to Aberdeen.
I'm off to a newer one Skandi Hawk.

Home for only 3 weeks but managed to get a booking for Phillip Island Ride Day on the 12th - blow some cobwebs out of the Panabusa!

Pretty sure my induction will have expired by then so I'll have to do the long walk upstairs and say hello..
Think Shell might also want us to have look at something they've got on the go on our way back to Darwin. Think that's still undecided at this point.

Rob, just been informed that we may have to mob the equipment to Dampier instead of Darwin.
Can you let me know once you find out where the Hawk is going to be please?
Scope has shifted to the right as expected, now looking at joining in first 2 weeks of June, will most likely slip to the right as we get closer..as per usual.

Are you taking over from the noggy captain? Think his name Geir or something?
The chief engineer was a noggy too, his 1st eng was Polish- bit of an unhappy sort of fella, I assume it was because he was working under a noggy.

Food's good on board too.
I'll have to post some pics up of the bridge, galley etc tomorrow when I get back to work.

Thanks mate, all looks pretty familiar - can't wait to meet the therapist - what's his name?
That ROV looks a beast - I haven't met him before!
No beer in the fridge? That's gonna change!!
Great pics, nearly looks enjoyable!

For those that don't know, those funny looking 'eggs' in the top two of Zoros pics are the 'throttles' for the main engines and thrusters, kinda put your whole hand over them rather than pull a lever. But pretty much always use a single joystick which works everything.

Looking forward to catching up with you mate, we'll have to put a Busa flag up !

His name is.....Bigguss Dickuss....

We'll have to come upstairs first up for inductions, I'll see you then.
Bring the flag and some videos
I'm with you for the beer, guessing I'll have about 24hrs work in total, be away for 2 weeks though. Will need something to occupy me, may as well be drunk..........:)
