Alice Springs in June
#1
Planning a Trip Alice Springs to Barrow Creek(return) on the Stuart Hwy in June when it cools off, riding up from Melb. Anyone planning a trip to blow out the cobwebs of their Busa's? Or if a NT Run is posted elsewhere send me a link. Will go on my own but thought safer in a small group. (and more fun)
cheers.

Good plan. I'll keep it in mind. 1 issue is fuel stops....... how far would a tank of fuel get at full noise?? I know mine gets about 280kms to dry averaging $1.60. Cheers

I was up there Dec-06 on an 06 Busa, (open limit days) i had no issues with fuel between stops. Obviously you couldn't go flat out all the way as most likely would run out, but i Didn't carry any extra fuel and can't remember having a problem with range?

from memory fuel about every 80km through the Territory up the Stuart, couple of longer stretches in S.A. - but 110km speed limit so shouldn't be a problem.
