hey peeps,
Now I have some spare time where I don;t need to ride I am going to see if I can get my 99 running smoothed out. Seems it is running rich in the lower rev ranges (where I spend 95% of my time) to the point where it is hiccuping like a bitch at 2, 3, 3.5 & 4K RPM
I suspect the Brock single slip on could be the culprit. The bike does have a Power Commander III on board but currently disconnected. I have briefly hooked it back up to see if it will work and the bike ran
I have now downloaded the interface software and was thinking some busa guru here might have a map very close to what I need to get it running better.
99 stock busa
2" single Alien Head Brock system
stock air box
slow assed street riding
all help appreciated

The power commander site has a heap of MAP files you can down load. I am running a modified Yoshi map from the site in my 99 it was pretty close of the bat not perfect but close. Are you using a wide band and a data logger? Mine only see's idle and WOT so haven't got much data on the lower throttle positions but looks OKat 100% throttle from 6000rpm to redline still needs some fine tuning but not bad. I have fitted blackbird injectors now so have pulled on average 20% fuel across the range

I have pulled a heap of maps off too... And I found that brock system has maps too but got to pay lol

you may now delete or edit the above post, which I will try.
However send some word files that may come in handy. The correct bike specs are at the bottom of one of those files.

Or just go get it dynoed and get the map tuned to suit your bike.

Yeah I know veejay, but guess how many dynos there are here in Launceston?? And it's bloody expensive
