further admissions of guilt

After admitting that I own a Yamaha, I thought I'd better 'fess up about what I bought today?
I've 'rediscovered' dirt bikes after the trip I just did to Vietnam - this came up at the right price (so cheap - I slop more than that in the bar!)

June 2005 build KTM 450 SX. Has been converted to enduro setup so it has all the best parts of the SX with titanium valves, more aggressive cam as well as the close ratio four speed gearbox - uprated EXC spec flywheel, stator, battery and genuine KTM electric start conversion. Fitted with a new TrailTech Voyager GPS computer, KTM hard parts skid plate, LED and halogen headlight, LED tail/brake light, domino throttle and throttle cables. Bike has blue TAG fat bars, SM Pro rims and gold Talon hubs. Full Akraprovic header pipe and muffler, billet side stand and front sprocket cover. Brand new in box DID VX2 chain to go with the bike along with spare air filters.
Engine was fully rebuilt and fork seals replaced in November 2011 (receipts included) and has since done less than 5 hours - hence the sale.

Moruya to Cooma via Bendethra is a good run. You may need the bigger tank, if so, I think the KTM bloke at Cessnock NSW might stock em.

Its gota be the best way of staying fit. Had to sell the 525 EXE.

I have the transparent version, 25Ltr (approx) plus I have a Nomad 8Ltr that fits behind the seat.
Range is approx 500Klms, I have a seat concepts seat which helps out alot too.

As a Harley enthusiast said to me when he helped me with my totally f****d 2 hour old KTM (and the rider wasn't much better for the pushing of it), "it doesn't matter what bike you ride, we all ride bikes".
