notchy throttle

The Gen 2 has a really notchy throttle down low. When you back off, it feels like the fuel just ceases, then when you roll back on there's nothing, then it comes on strong. It's only subtle, so I may be imagining it more by concentrating, but it's hard to be real smooth out of the tight corners. Like I said, it's subtle, had a mate ride it and he couldn't feel it - but it's there.
It's not chain slack or accelerator cable slack, but that's what it feels like.

Thought it might be injectors need a clean. Was gonna try some "in fuel injector cleaner" in 1st to see if it improves it.
Sound feasible ??

Yes I agree, but following the gentle manipulation of my ECU by Camel, I found many of those sort of issues went away. The entire range is smoother, from low speed traffic manoeuvring to full on third gear blasting.

Hey, like everyone says, I'm not an expert @ this shit, but it may be from where your ecu goes from a TPS Fuel Map to AFR Fuel Map @ low % throttle. Maybe just get the Woolich Racing Software & Datalogger, an AFR Sensor & Gauge & do it yourself. I'm sure Camel could maybe just email you a map maybe. I think thats how it works.
Got 3 Maps on the Stroker now, A is dishwater. B is 95. C is 98.

If ya really wanted to with that Woolich Stuff, you could bung an E10 Fuel Pump in it & have A set up for E10.

Stock busa is a 1/4 turn
R6 makes it a 1/5 turn
R1 makes it a 1/6 turn

very easy to do.

Is the 04 R1.

Mounts up easily just have to add slack to both cables to slip on over tube/mount then re-adjust slack.

As above, get the ECU flashed. My 08 Jaffa had the same feel. I had Pete from Pete's Pittstop reflash mine. Also adjusted the thermo fan setting to come on at a lower temp, go rid of the throttle limiters in the lower gears and the 299km limiter etc.

I've got a spare flash interface and also a carbtune if you want to borrow one, but you'll still need the harness wires from ecu to Yoshi plug. And also a good mention from GM on the throttle tube (r1). It's well worth doing on the GenII.
