Hi Tony, You still on for a ride on the 11th or 12th Jan or both what ever suits you?
I will be doing the west cost on the 8th/9th Jan.
I am planning to leave the Sunshine Coast on the 2nd of Jan and give myself 3 days to get down to Melbourne(around 630km per day). Have a rest in Melbourne on the 5th Jan and get the boat over to Tas on the 6th Jan.
Will be leaving Tas on the evening 16th Jan over night to Melbourne. Plan on going for a ride along the Great Ocean Road on Friday the 17 of Jan if any mexicans want to join me.

Hi Guys. in regards to west coast rides
the council/gov a doing road works between Tullah and Cradle mountain turn off so lots of delays at times..one bad section about 5km out of Tullah where they have widened road is fine gravel and slush for about 3/4km,not good in a car let alone a bike..knowing the way they work it probably won't be finished when you come thru in Jan and possibly Feb..will let you know what it's like around newyear..
Swansea to Queenstown has some nice roads with plenty of corners Pi_tongue
Am unsure if I can make Jan ride but planning on Feb

That's the plan Wayne. Should be back on my feet in couple of days and doing physio so I can ride in Feb,if not sooner.
Already working on my Busa, Radguards fitted,R1 throttle,Galfer brake lines and 1" bar riser plate fitted and old nose cone back on.just have to fit rest of fairings and rearsets and learn to walk on 2 feet again Very Happy
will let you guys know what roads a like at new year.

Just stuck a post up in the other thread.

Saying - why not start Batfink's loop ride on the Sat. as soon as we hop off the boat. Volvi can catch us up on the Sunday when he arrives as long as we keep him informed of where we'll be. That makes the ride over the weekend so more Tassie members will be able to participate. And gives us an extra day to go sight seeing after Biker Boobies4 over west and around the rest of God's country.

Thanks for the heads upon the road works.

Been looking at the map of TassiePi_tongue, after doing the West Coast & East Coast I am thinking of going to Strathgordon via Poatina on the 13 or 14th of Jan.

Your in for a real treat there Mozzie, the Strathgordon run is fantastic! Make sure you do the B34 Lake Leake Highway. Around 56kms of Awesomeness! Done Tassie many times now and can't wait to do it again someday!
