Heya Wardy...

We're VERY interested, mate!!

Can you either post up here or send me a PM with ALL of your booking and travel details, ie: date and time of the "Spirit Of Tazzy" ferry trips; itinery/route and accommodation in Tazzy; Phillip Island accommodation...and any other info (afterburner day?!?) that may be pertinent!!

cheers...

check the thread http://www.australian-hayabusa-club.com/...?tid=20828

ATM it's all very loose.

Booked Tassie ferry over 14th Feb. and Back 21st.
Volvi will be there the day after, WayneB60 has a group also keen to go.

Am keen on getting Batfink and Tassie crew to put a rough itinerary together. Was planning on "winging it" re accomm. staying at pubs etc.

Booked at Tropicana in Cowes for 22nd and 23rd.
Out on town Sat night and watching the races Sunday only.

looking at only doing 2 afterburner sessions, 1 solo and 1 doing a 2up session to give Cathy a run around the track, hopefully be able to borrow a set of leathers for that.

Was planning on leaving the Island early arvo on the Monday.

Only nights on those days, we've booked a cabin, bugger sitting up all night. Think there is day crossings on the Sundays, but it didn't fit our plans. Plus it saves a nights accom elsewhere.

Hey Wardy... so you are arriving in the AM of the 15th Feb in Tassie? if so I will be there waiting for ya when u get off the boat (don't mind giving anyone a warm tassie welcome when they land)...

winging it is the best way for Tassie, it's not that big but bigger than a lot think. Will try to get the 2 headed isalnders together for a East Coast run while we got interstate visitors..
thinking from St Helens to Richmond or vise versa... will depend when most are up for a run and who needs to be back north for the boat etc..

worse case just drop me a txt when ur about and I will be happy to show you the North/N-East

Welcome

The gods of good weather are like the Australian Government.. they all tend to forget about Tassie HAHahahahahahahaaa

Launceston (Lonnie) is only 45 minutes from Devonport (less on a busa sshhhhh) so you can do what I will be doing at jumping on bime at 6am or stay closer. I will check out some roadds for you all in the area, see if we can get you up into highlands for some pics.

Heya Wardy...

At this stage, we can't do Tassy, BUT >>>> We ARE booked in for WSB (room booked at The Tropicana, in Friday and out on Tuesday morning) and we'll also be doing The Afterburner Track Day!! Yes

C'mon CaptRob / BikerBoy / RYDRZ / Beau / Jeff Evans / JOCK / Jake Da Snake - and all the rest of you Melbourne City and surrounding area Mexi-CAHNS.....

Wardy and bazman are CALLING YOU OUT to come and do the AFTERBURNER Track Day with us....directly after the WSB's on the Monday, 24th Feb, 2014.

There are still a few rooms available at The Tropicana Motor Inn, and there are still positions available for the track day > > > BUT YA GOTTA GET YOUR SH#T TOGETHER AND BOOK ASAP (ya snooze, ya looze)!!!

Look below....half your work is already done for you!!!

http://www.tropicanamotorinn.com.au/reservations

http://www.phillipislandridedays.com.au/

There are only 2 classes for the track day.....if you have done a track day before this, or if you're fairly quick on the road, you really wanna be in the med/fast group. I'd only recommend the med/slow group if you cruise very slowly on the road!! (...way too many XV250 Virago mobile chicanes to dodge and get round)

Hoping to see as many AHC club members at WSB and The AFTERBURNER Day as possible....BikerBikerBiker

Hiya Bazman. I checked the site and they have track days listed before and fter 24/02/14 only; it goes from 11 February to 10 March. How do you book into Afterburners?

Yeah pan, for some reason unbeknownst to the rest of us, they DON'T advertise the Afterburner Day with all the regular track days in the calendar!! When you speak to them ask them why...coz I certainly haven't got a clue?!?

So what ya gotta do is ring the number on the website contact page, ie: 1300 793 423 , tell them you're keen to do the Afterburner Day, give them your email addy (for pan and any others that have done track days at PI or Eastern Creek, they'll most probably already have your email, so juz tell them your name), and they'll send you an application form via email asap. Fill it out and then scan and send back via email, or fax or snail-mail works too!!

But TIME is the big issue here fellas.....the Afterburner Day is really, REALLY popular and sells out really, REALLY fast.....SO PLEASE DO NOT DELAY.....lets see if we can get at least 10 busa's tearing down the main straight at 290 km/h!!?!! YeeHaaaa

I think it's due to the old guy that usually rode a hardly 3ish years ago, booked himself an afterburner day, got himself a hired PI bike for his first time ever on the track...... and killed it and himself in turn 1.

see ya'll there!!
