Bagster Tank Protector
#46
Ok as promised, here the pics, I got excited and just tank cleaned it, but pics are with the Suzuki half bra, the new cover, then the new cover and bags on. As for attachments there are two straps on the sides with plasticoated clips on adjustable webbing from the sides down to the tanks rim, then there are two webbing loops forward and aft also adjustable, the underside is fully lined and sewn up (no magnets) the hayabusa lettering is embroidered through the lot, my / suppliers tip for the warming fitup was spot on and is a really good fit overall, the bag also has a plastic "wet" cover as well inside the bag. stoked. If you need more or different angled shots let me know fellas.

Nice, Thompy!! Clap

In my humble opinion......the bagster tank cover and tank bag is THE best aftermarket bit of kit that you could EVER add to your busa [for either touring or juz punting around town purposes]....they open up so many extra possibilities/options!!! Pi_thumbsup

Ahh yup, I thought I mentioned it in my intro post, not sure (was kind of excited to find a ozi forum I may have forgot), the prev pic was when she was 5 minutes old on the scare'a'wallet carpark (was the only decent pic I had when I joined forum), the cans went on about 4 weeks later, so they've been on the bike now for umm about 7 months. They're Yoshi RS-3's I think from memory.

As fer the colour thing mate for me black is good, but its the function that wins hands down like Bazman said. I'm wanting to blacken the bike up some more so it works for me. With that said I rekon you'd be hard pressed to find a better base to customize with.

G'day all, I'm heading down to Perth shortly to pick up my 0km 2012 red (crimson?) Hayabusa. Keen on getting a Bagster tank cover but I'm worried about the colour match and no Bagster retailer will commit to identifying the closest colour. The best I could come up with is the "Dark Red 1567J", can anyone give me some advice?

Cheers Rich

I'll be keen to see what you go with as I have the same candy red 2012. Where are you buying yours from and at what cost.

Cheers

Yes as Rod said, you can recolour vinyl. My white cover is nothing like the pearl white of the bike but I got used to it pretty quick. The advantages of the bagster cover are well worth it and I don't even use mine to carry a bag.

G'day fella's, I don't expect an exact colour match just hoping someone can advise what the closest coloured Bagster for the Candy Sonoma Red bike is.

I noticed CTA had a red cover I think for $100 on clearance the other day. Big saving. Pity I was looking for one top suit my Jaffa, they are $269, bugger.

Thanks for the heads up Zrex1200, the only red bagster I could find for $100 with CTA is for the Gen I.

I want to buy one of these for my new bike. The $86 postage from UK makes me baulk though, especially when a 2nd item it sayes is free. Anyone want to go halves in the postage?
