How does February 14 (Valentines day- take your favourite girl for a ride! Biker ) on the boat to Tassie. Back on Friday 21st ready for Supers on Sat 22nd. sound? Read

A day over, a day back and 6 days riding Tassie.

Don't know if it's cheaper or easier to book on a particular day for the Ferry??

I'm keen (would be two up "me'an Cathy" Boobies4) - otherwise she could be mean! and say no. Lol3

What day do you Tassie guys that go to the supers normally come over?

Reckon Feb would be peak season, should be running morn and night. Would only do o'night if I had a cabin, and that adds to cost. So prefer day crossing. I'll make commitment in December.

I had a look at the above dates in Feb, 19.30 departure with 06.00 arrival next morning. Looked like a single twin room with bike transport return is about $589. A bit cheaper if you share the room. Looked like the cheapest option was $250 each way.

Agree, want to make it worthwhile. I suppose paying a night on the ferry is 1 night less accommodation at PI though.

I just changed my dates from end of this month to next year February 15 - 22 Saturday to Saturday. Philip Island race on Sunday 23rd. only cost me extra $45ea.way. Just couldnt be bothered for end of this month and which bike will decide then.

Just don't miss the B28 road out of Queenstown via Lake Plimsoll. Locals call it the Anthony. Imo the best bike road in Tassie. Top blast in both directions. Paul.Very Happy
