Vic....Summer Slam

Hi all,

Well it is time for all you Vic Drag Racers to get geared up for the 13th Jan at Heathcoate Park Raceway.

Sports Compact Group, round 2 is going to be at Heathcoate.

I must say that the Sport Compact Group put on the best drag race meeting I have ever been to and the prize money is great as well. (betting money is also good if you win. He hehe)


There is 2 classes. Street Sports Bike and Modified Sports Bike. All the rules and entry form etc can be found on www.sportcompact.net.au.

Hope to meet a few of the Vic members while I am down there so I can put faces to names.

A few of us from NSW will be making the trip down.

Hope to see this event supported well.

Doin the ANDRA lic thing now, otherwise i will have to ride the 750.

Hi Maj,

I was told the other day that you didn't need an ANDRA lic to race at Heathcote and because of this, we prob wouldnt get to many that would get a lic to only race at this event.

It really is a great event and I really do hope that we get the biggest Busa turnout yet.

The Summer Slam you do need an ANDRA Lic to race at this event. I have added this because Len thinks that what I have written above sounds like you dont need a lic to race.

Thanks for the heads up Dee , i will check that out, normally race the 750 circuit bike at Andra events as its the slowest i have <i></i>

Not more than 1 other regular on a busa,although there may be one from Mildura and Paul Andrews could make an appearance.
There are a couple of zx12's zrx12,gsxr's, a zx6 non andra some of which run close to the cut off & have modified swingarms and may not put in an appearance plus several Barred teched ANDRA regulars .

Maj, the wheelie bar guys wont get a run, so tell em to take their bars off and come for a go.

I'll be coming for sure, and so is Ali.
I'm guessing that Alex Borg is going to make a showing too, but I am not sure if any QLDers will be fronting. <i></i>

At the moment 3 bikes are entered and Friday is the last day for entry. I wont be racing work commitments are going to keep me Brisbane.

Hey Bruce,

You should be able to enter on Line. I just went in and checked it and the form came up fine for me. If you still can't give Ray a ring in the morning.
