If you go V & H, just check with someone who actually has one fitted.

Some of the american systems (V & H, D & D, Cobra) have cheap, crappy chrome that fails in under 12 mths. Yes they warranty them, but you just get more of the same.

Found the same issues with Hardly rims, 12 mth old & all the spokes are rusted in place, only see it when you remove the tyres.

Go the Akra or Yoshi, known quality.

Wow Scary what's he doing these days then? Just regular service work or has he given it away altogether?

Bit the bullet and ordered the Akra 4-1 carbon system from the US.Very Happy
Also got in touch with Pete(fasterfaster), Pete will be able to flash my ecu with a map to suit the new exhaust(no dyno). He has a couple hundred maps saved.Clap

When I first got my bike back in '99 it had 4 into 1 Akro and people behind me were often impressed when she let go some flashes of blue flames. But guess that was just rich fuel mix. Either way Im still very happy with my twin short Remus's, havent heard a better sound to date.

Fitted the Akra on Friday. Has a good note without being to loud. Bike also feels no stable at speed(tested on a private road of course).Coolsmiley
