...and heading off to Kakadu?

Yep, not quite as far as Jabiru, they'll turn off just before there in the morning and run past Cooinda.
This will bring them back out onto the Stuart highway near Pine Creek and back through Katherine.
The guys will certainly need a break after this ride I think.

Here's proof they made it to Darwin.

Taken on the Esplanade for their quick stop over/ break, still 2-3hrs from their room for the night. The location of the photo is at a point where they could not physically ride any further forward, ran out of road, ocean behind us.

At this point one of the Gen1's is making a noise in the RHS fork upon compression and 1 lost black GoPro. Other than that all in good spririts and were looking forward to heading south.

They were all parked on the grass originally but Mr Traffic man was on his way and they moved the bikes into the spare car space. Think they were glad to just get off the bikes then worry too much about positioning.

Shredder , Barry and myself home last night about 7.30pm after our 9,700k epic adventure. Our NSW partners would have been home in the afternoon sometime.
Once again thankyou Mark for your effort putting all this into a do-able package. The accommodation, petrol stops, day to day planning for 7bikes/riders is a big task.
Same as our last Cairns run, we were blessed with perfect dry weather .
Thanks Zoro for meeting up with us in Darwin although I was on the phone most of the time after finally picking up Optus reception since Longreach !!
A lot of people I know said it would be a boring trip but I was never bored at all. Probably concentrating on trying to keep up to the pace had a bit to do with it. And the multiple petrol stops keeping petrol up to a B King.
A bloody great trip and I'm pleased to have been a part of it.

To Greeny QLD, the only bike missing from the Darwin photo was Barry's new BMW K1300R which was his Red Rocket on this trip. Certainly was not left behind , and he had the GPS tracker on board.
Trophy.........Clap
