Just to explain how fast that is: 161mph is about 259km/h

My track bike comes out of turn 12 at Eastern Creek doing about 85-90km/h (my trackbike is 50kg lighter than Simmo's bike)
The straight is about 800m long
The fastest I've ever recorded it with GPS data is 261km/h (that's about 200m before turn 1), so rolling on from 85 to 261 takes me 600m

Simmo does it over 400m from a standing start!!!

...then there's Legend... but we won't go there!

heh pan i do the same except a little bit quicker.time to beat this year so far 8.911 & 163 + mph.
lil 1340 on pump fuel, road bike.

australias fastest street bike lil 1340 on pump fuel.still on a girlie tune & can only half ride it when i do get it right then look out. glen will be watching over his shoulder.
