Hayabusa track bike in Japan
#1
No, this isn't a thread about me taking my bike up north to show them how it's done... apparently, there's another nut somewhere on our planet that has built one too!

I came across this from a mate of ours. Has anyone seen it or know anything about it?

Obviously a turbo...?

Fark.....some serious cash has been spent on that thing!!! However think of this bike as more of a real life advertisement put together
by the suppliers to test & show off the parts and performance rather than some rider built himself a track Busa.

Team Adachi is a custom parts manufacturer/supplier and T.P Tansha-ya make the turbo. Rims are the same as mine (Galespeed)
Prob also fitted out with parts from Action and Motoworks JP.....All local Japanese businesses and products.

The Team Adachi website does has some info on the the bike but not much.......if ya can read Katakana that is.
If you use the search term Team Adachi Hayabusa in YouTube, you'll get vids of the turbo busa running on track at Okayama. That particular bike is in some vids but also maybe some of them are from earlier in the build.

I want those fairings!!!!!! Never seen a GenII with full race kit like that before.

Pretty sure it's a Gen 1 fairing/race kit...

yeah I think you're right....or it's a custom kit? I was in contact with a Japanese company early last year that could make them to whatever design I wanted but I never finished the files to send them.

The bike is/ or was def. a GenII, but the fairings certainly do look like Gen1. Hmmmm that gives me an idea......can I have your track bike fairings Pan Drool

The bike is definitely Gen 2 and the fairings a custom job with the tail looking looking like Gen but the front panels are neither. Interestingly it still has mirror attachments and frankenstein bolts!. Could do with a bit better seat though..Me likes it overall and would like that set of fairings Yes
