Hi there Travel and Motorcycle Enthusiasts

Two Wheel Touring NZ is a motorcycle tours business based just north of Auckland, and have been operating motorcycle tours around New Zealand for the past four years.

We have a selection of motorcycle tours covering both the North and South Islands, as well as shorter tours covering specific locations - such as a four day Round East Cape Trip and a three day Cape Reinga Run. Accommodation is of a motel standard with breakfast and evening meals provided. Tours are structured enough to provide some form of certainty, but are free enough to allow you to do your own thing. Every tour has a motorcycle riding leader and a riding tail-end-charlie and the average riding distance is around 350km per day. All tour itineraries can be viewed from our website http://www.twowheeltouring.co.nz
Motorcycle rentals can also be organised and cost around $NZ200 per day for a mid-range bike and upwards to $NZ300 per day for a big Harley tourer or Goldwing.

Gentle Annie - Nov 2012 (Tour full)
This four day tour covering the two Gentle Annie Roads (Taihape to Napier Road and the Wairoa to Gisborne Road via Tiniroto) is fully subscribed with all eighteen spots taken.

Five Passes South Island Tour - Dec 2012

This is the first South Island tour of the new season kicking off in early December and riders traverse five high country passes of the South Island, namely the Lewis, Burke, Arthur's, Lindis and Haast Passes over ten days.

Grand Panoramic New Zealand Tour - March 2013
A comphrehensive fourteen day tour covering both the North and South Islands of New Zealand - ideal for a fly-in-fly-out overseas motorcyclist.

Great New Zealand Pub Tour - March 2013

Of interest to some will be the late March week long motorcycle tour checking out both the North and South Islands lesser known pubs. Have you ever had a drink at the Patangata Pub, the Mokihinui Pub, or the Little Wanganui Pub (not anywhere near Wanganui)? These are just three of the pubs on a multi-day motorcycle pub ramble.

British Lions Rugby Tour Australia - June 2013

We are also looking at organising a three week motorcycle tour of predominantly Queensland and involving the British Lions rugby tour next June. The tour would largely be around northern and central inland Queensland, and would involve the Lions games against the Queensland Reds and the first test both at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane. Rental bikes will be available and there will be a back-up van, with accommodation of a motel standard. Tour route has been finalised - just still to sort out accommodation at various spots as mining companies block-book motels in some outback towns. Will include Townsville - Charter Towers - Mt Isa - Longreach and Emerald.

Namibia/South West Africa - September 2013
Looking at the feasibility of a three week tour here and tying it with the All Blacks test in South Africa for the Four Nations possibly in CapeTown and then starting the tour in Namibia. This tour possibly will tie in with South African tour operator whom we have tentatively linked with.
