the package that mine came in said for 2001 and up.

On the back was a list of around 50 dirt and road bikes that it suited - Suzuki RM's, Yami's & Kwakas.

edit: if this link works, this is the one I got http://www.motionpro.com/motorcycle/partno/01-0094/

Good decision getting it flashed too, Pete is about an hour North of me, cannot fault him. He had a 450hp turbo busa he was building for some nutter last time I went!

sutur, thanks for the offer mate Pi_thumbsup, but @ the prices it's not worth the effort to have you search, package & post the item mate, sit down & have beer instead.. I can get my local shop to bring it in

On the original link to the GSXR site I did see the required year. I will go back & check before ordering.

Thanks for that BikerBoy, I will use that info to cross reference against the year, check & send part# info to my local supplier.

It has been 11 years since I have owned a bike I did not know inside out & back to front, you blokes have been a great help. Thanks Pi_thumbsup.

The beauty of owning a bike that has a huge following,
thats pulled to bits by petrol heads around the world.

Some very different opinions on here, but its hard to find
something that someone hasnt already "been there, done that".

Members on here have helped me out a few times.
Some good folk on here.

OK, for the dedicated drag racing bike you might need a welded clutch version, but on street and track especially it is what saves your arse if you downshifted too early or too far and your rear tyre wants to go AWOL as it tries to spin the engine to 15000 RPM Scary. Most modern bikes have them and for a good reason.

So please guys try to understand how things really work before making misleading comments. Biker

Most bikes are indeed coming out with slipper clutches, and some are better then others.
The system used on the busa is in my opinion ineffective.
..

..
..

There are great systems out there, Ducati and a few others around have nailed it, but again the stick suzuki one........ Better off with out it!

Again.
My opinion for what its worth.

I looked into that once, did you succeed? Lose any weight? Same wheels, discs etc?

If it is the same dia it will not change the roll angle. What is the advantage with this mode again Confused
