After a fair bit of hot air and way too much searching around I have taken the plunge and bought a track bike. It is no postie bike Heidi, but I had to start somewhere.
It's an 07 CBR1000 witth a few small improvements for the track (bodywork, braids, slicks, pads, etc) but the engine is stock as is the suspension.
..... and yes Shredder this time I will set up the suspension so it isn't just factory set out of the box!
and this is what the garage looks like now. Kinda the way it should look don't you think?

Picked it up yesterday...... track day QLD Raceway tomorrow........ track day Lakeside teh day after! And me with slicks on and no warmers or generator! Looks like I'm a spectator at best (and Sunday supposed to be wet) but there are more coming up so I've got time to prep up.
So far two short rides on the driveway about 4m each time. Seems to handle well at that distance.

I remember being on a ride and you disapearing off
into the distance whilst I stuggled to keep you in sight !

Maybe one day loaded up for a trip down to a nice southern track Heidi. Pit my skillls against the local posties around the track. Just give me a heead start.
