Bought a new 2012 in Red
#1
Just bought a new 2012 red Busa. Hoping to pick it up on Friday. Have also got them to fit a full Yoshi R77 exhaust.

I was originally looking to buy secondhand, but prices on a brand new bike with 2 year warranty were so close that it made more sense to buy a new one.

I also couldn't wait another six months for the new model to arrive, especially when it would be back to full price.

Still not 100% sure about the colour but have bitten the bullet anyway.

Good on ya Huls. Make sure you post pics. If you do end up with the red, go easy until you get used to it. They're a little quicker than the rest!

Congrats Huls was going to sell my K8 but when it came to the crunch did not have the heart to part with it. I ride it to work most days. Great thing is it can stretch ridding skills or be ridden to avoid attention.

Huls Congrats on the new Busa and welcome back to the world according to Busa Lol3

I've seen both bikes in the flesh and I like both colour schemes this year and I reckon they look even better in the daylight.

Will have to tee up a ride one would think.

Looking forward to my first ride on a Busa in a while. Wouldn't mind heading out for a country ride in the near future. A country pub meal after a ride would hit the spot.

Nice bud,

I think you'll be happy with the colour, in the sun it looks mint.

Put up a pic when you get it.

Where did you buy it from?

Savage Suzuki in Midland. They did me a great deal. Will post the pics in a few days.

I'm thinking about adding some gold coloured bling (radiator guard, wheel stripes, pick up stands etc). I don't know how that's going to sit against the factory sticker kit which is whte/grey/black so I may even try and remove these and replace with a gold sticker kit, although I'm worried that may be too far removed from factory original look which a lot of people don't like.
