Hello

Giday, I'm Stuart, I live in Gunnedah NW NSW so being out in the bush I will probably never catch up face to face with a lot of you guys. I recently bought a 2001 Hayabusa from Lismore Motorcycles as a street fighter project which I am enjoying.....sometimes.

Great forum you guys have here, I hope you don't mind me asking the odd dumb question from time to time.

Stu

And Welcome to the AHC!! Very Happy

Gunnedah isn't that far out of the way......there are a fair few of us that like to travel some big K's to all sorts of places while we're out & about touring on the busa's!! Pi_thumbsup

Thanks guys, mainly cosmetic changes at this stage. 07 Tuono tail and subframe, BXP riser and fat bars, looking at a XBR Buell front fairing (pic) but also have a headlight for a CFMoto 650NK on the way, I got a 4 to 1 Muzzy off one of the members on here and chopped about 6" off it today. It will be a bit of an all rounder but we do the 1/8th mile drags here every couple of months so mechanically it will be set up mainly for that. Any info to help me go faster in a straight line over 200mtrs is very welcome.

It has a K&N, PAIR line and crank case breather are connected but apart from that I think the engine is pretty stock. I'm interested to hear what would be the best cog & sprocket configuration for the 200mtr drags if anyone has experimented. I've read about welding up the back torque limiter or buying a billet one, has anyone on here done this mod ?
