Wow Heidi, a tank of fuel in 177klms, in my book that relates to about 40 minutes of ride time with the occassional serious air over those humps as u head towards the Blue Heeler Pub at Kyuna!. I know because Bundy told me!!!.

Cheers,

HEY TEX! Good to see you!

I was keeping deliberately vague on a few of the details regarding the speeds. I forgot to tell everyone that the big girls can JUMP! The road to Kyuna has pipes under the surface. What this means is that the road dips slightly before each rise. At SPEED, this means you can lift and entire Hayabusa, a rider, full gear and in one case a blue heeler cattle dog, COMPLETELY off the ground. The first time I did it it was perfect (this is all well over the double ton). The second time I came down a little crossed up and got a bit of a fright. For a second I thought about backing off, but then I realised, how often do you get to do things like this, so it was back to full throttle, chasing a fool and his dog. After about the 20th full air, I started mixing it up with the odd motorcoss kick to the side (because I am an IDIOT). Do not try this at home!!

What are you doing lurking around this old post Astro?

MAN that trip was an adventure. Early on I decided to say 'yes' to any opportunity offered. SURE it got me into trouble, but I got to hear a dingo sing, sleep under the stars, get attacked by an emu and see Ayres Rock. Not bad considering I wasn't actually going in that direction.
