While traveling to glenrowan , look up the kelly tree at Tolmie on the way , very interesting bit of history
They dug up the pub at Glenrowan last year had the whole floor laid out with markers showing where some of the gang members fell .
if i can get away i may scoot over for a bit and catch up

Stringybark creek, where Ned shot a trooper
but a few kms of dirt road to get to it , slightly corrigated in parts but ok for a busa, i was there in March

Suits me, I can go via Whitfield-Mansfield and meet up at Merton.
(I reckon about 3hrs?? depending on conditions - google sayes 4? )

How long does it take you from home to Merton?
Give me an idea when I need to leave, or change route.
