Suzuki Virus 1000
#1
This might be totally left-field madness, though quite a few Europeans have jumped on board already. Would anyone like to convert a GSX-R 1000 into a (Swiss-made) Virus 1000 super roadster? (a la GSR 750 )
I'd like to know how it's done. Maybe some of the clever Busa owners on this forum will have more than the know-how and inclination to make such a conversion(?)
From what I can see of pictures at the launch at Frankfurt, this bike is going to be BIG. A street fighter style with ALL of the GSX-R 1000's ponies and handling to match.
Perhaps, Suzuki has taken the hint and the next GSR 1000 will be very much like this. I have to start saving from now! What do you think?

Nice. Suzuki REALLY should build it, unrestricted and not de-tuned.

I've ridden a few GSXR1000's and a streetfightered one.
Very sporty and mental fun, but for me they lacked
the grunt, comfort and solid feel of a Naked Busa or B-King.

Would love one "as well as" but wouldnt trade anything
I've got towards one.

But with a different kind of handling I think and perhaps not quite the same stump pulling torque...

I agree and i think that they had to come to the table with something similar considering that they said that they wont reproduce the king any more.I like it.

Excuse me, but that blue turbo might be one of the most awesome things I've seen.
