My attendance is confirmed...

See ya's there!

Been a bit difficult for me to get online since I dropped my hard drive and cracked the motherboard of my computer during an upgrade, so the lot went in the bin, I got one of those windows phones and finally got credit.

Still trying to make it Embarassed

Do you have a planned route from Marylands ?
If possible I might be able to catch you somewhere ?

Don't forget the cycle ride that day too up in the hills ,
I've seen a few signs warning of road closures Scary

Troopy's post says they're closing the roads from Verdun to Balaklava? Do you think they'll make it there by 1:30? Coolsmiley

So typical that bicycle riders who pay zero road tax, just take over the roads...it was my great misfortune on a major highway (New England) near Tenterfield to be delayed over 1.15-1.5hrs hrs by the side of the road, with some 16 police cars (and attendants) making sure the peddlers get the red-carpet treatment, whilst the road-tax paying public lined up for kilometers at a stand-still! No wonder they think they own the roads and ride mostly in the middle everywhere they go! Sorry if I sound a little ungenerous. My yearly registration, insurance and on going road tax (via the petrol pump) does not seem to equate to any rights to use the roads when peddlers want to ride.

Falco, I have 3 Registered and Insured vehicles on the road, and Im a Cyclist, infact, the reality is, most Cyclists also have one or more vehicle on the Road aswell, Yes like you I have been committed mid corner only to find a group of 4/5 cyclists all over the road, this is why the powers that be put these restrictions in place when such an event is taking place so as to hopefully get both Cyclists and Vehicle users to slow up a little and note the pending dangers.

One day Falco you may just be the recepiant of some of the money that they raise, or the technology, (whatever that may be in this case im not sure), but lets hope you dont eh? :)

I am a Cyclist aswell as a Motorcyclist, I find your comments narrowminded and typical of a person or persons who are thinking about themselves.

With you on that one Troopy Pi_thumbsup You came across some dickheads on the pushbikes sometimes but there as many if not more tax paying ones behind the wheel. I ride a pushie too sometimes and the idiots in the cars are a danger to all riders - on pushbike or motorbike. Share the road and spread the love man Biker

NOT HAPPY!!! I can't come to the BBQ after all.... I just spent/borrowed $510 for a new set of tyres and discovered that I also need new chain & sprockets as my chain has tight spots and makes a popping sound as it tries to skip on the rear sprocket....
So the bike is off the road for the next 3 - 4 months as I also have to pay insurance by the 6th April then the 3 monthly rego in May...
Being on a disability payment and not allowed to work more than 15 hours a week is really starting to get to me.... Now I understand why the suicide rate is up, especially with a failed mental health system....

Anyone want to buy an '01 with some spares for $9K? (even if it does break my heart, as it's the only good thing I've had in my stinking worthless f***-up of a life)

Sorry to rant, but I just had to get it off my chest.

That's no good Bazz, was looking forward to catching up.

If you can get to my place by 11am and bring ya riding gear you can hitch a lift with me if ya game Biker or hitch a lift with the other half in the car but I think that would be even more frightening Pi_freak

Mate never pay over $500 for a set of tyres again, I can get a pair of Metzeler Sportech M1 Tyres fitted to wheels for only $308 total Pi_thumbsup

Also if you do sell your Busa then I have a cheapy K1 Busa coming up for sale soon for around $5,500 ONO

As for the rest of the SA Crew C YA THERE Coolsmiley

Isn't it Ironic that my Favourite Stretch of Tarmac is called C.O.P. Eek

Hey all,
Was on the Blower to Greeny the other Night and he came up with what I thought was a great idea, and due to the fact that he hasnt posted it yet Im gunna take the Liberty and do it Myself!!

Was great to catchup with Dianne and Goran (I hope the spelling is rite there fella), at our BBQ the other week, and most of us are of the attitude that the way we went to Lobie isnt a good representation of what our Hills have to offer for our "New Adelaide Members", so Greeny and I were theorising about doing a run down toward Victor/Goolwa via Myponga Dam, along the Coast to Delamere and doing the Delamere Road Drool to Victor and Goolwa, then heading home via Mt Compass, Nangkita, Ashbourne, Strath etc.

Any Intrest in this before the Weather turns to Shite?
In my head Im thinking in the next few Weeks mite be a good idea?
Looking forward to your input!

Oh; ZX14's are most welcome Very Happy
