Has anyone bought a Zero Gravity screen lately?
I'm in the market for one after breaking mine (again). This time a Corella decided to get in my way and pushed the mirror into it before trying to hitch a lift under my arm. Damn bird broke the screen and pooped on my bike at the same time!
The last couple I've bought have been factory seconds from the US, but I'm happy to look at what the local guys are selling new ones for. A couple threads last year stated that Amcmo and Pete (FF) were selling them at good prices.
Would be happy to hear any suggestions on where the best deal on these screens has been found of late.
Cheers,
Tim.

I just bought one off AMCMO (sport-touring dark smoke) as Pete had no stock at that time....cost me $110 delivered.

How dark is it CeeJay? I'm thinking of getting one myself but I would prefer a solid black (I know there ilegal). But you think I can find a solid black injection moulded one...

Tim, we have all of them in stock for both Gen's, they run about $90, but they are pricey to send to AU. International Shipping for that big box runs about $42 for that weight. Exchange rate is very good right now, but i'm guess it'd be cheaper to get it local? I have a bunch of used Gen-I screens too. I really ought to inventory them and see what I've got. Likely about 6-8 used models.
I bought a big black touring ZG screen and it's f**king horrible. The plastic is too thin, and it cracked after a week. the touring screen also looks ridiculous.
I bought a puig (from pashnit actually) and it's the screen I should have bought. Bulletproof!

Cheers for the feedback so far guys. I don't think the ZG screens are particularly weak, as it's been a couple big hits that have broken mine. I'm certainly prepared to look at other brands like the Puig. The ZG's have just seemed to be good value for money (for fit and finish). Maybe one of the other brand screens would have survived what has happened to mine?
Will try to get a morning squirt to lobie in, Sunday week Greeny. Hope to catch up then.

Well I finally got around to getting another screen and fitting it. Decided to try a Puig and got one from a seller in Europe. Took 3 weeks to get here but was well priced.
The Puig was a perfect fit. It certainly felt more rigid than the ZG screen that I removed, so I measured the thickness of both at various points and found the Puig was nearly 1mm thicker.
I can say that the Puig screen certainly seems like a stronger screen, but time will tell. After seeing and feeling both side by side off the bike I will undoubtedly choose the puig over the zg screen if needing to buy again.

Puig wins again. Had one on every faired bike I've owned now!
