Hey Kev Ive had two one piece suits and two two piece and have one of each a the moment

One piece are great if you have the time to put them on but in most touring cases you wait until the last moment to put them on because they are hot and uncomfortable and can be restrictive to wear and if you wear full leathers with sliders back protector ect it can be quite an effort on the side of the road by yourself to put on but they are better at speed to wear.

Two piece is my choice easy to put on dont have to wear the bottom if you dont want to makes a good wind break in colder times (if you wear leathers all the time) and can be worn at events as a rain coat

My experience is they all work well . . . until it rains heavy. Then they all eventually leak, heavy rain = wet crutch(or is it just me?Frown) Cathy and I wear an extra pair of of high waisted wet weather pants under the one piece. Takes a bit longer to put on, but works well.
