Well, we had a great time!

470 k's. All the ranges. Much fun. Of course, I forgot my good camera....however, there were lots of pics taken.

Here is a taste...sorry for the crappy iPhone pics.

I'm sure lots of pics will be posted when the boys get back...

Well I will start off by thanking Shane for organising the ride and the crew for one of the best weeks of my life. One word "Unreal", if anyone ever has a chance to get up that way on the bike I would highly recommend it. Also thankyou to Troppo for being our tour guide for the day blasting around the ranges just awesome.
4000km + of the best twisties, sweepers, road in general and group of peple that I have ever had the pleasure of riding on and with.
Apart from a few hiccups which no doubt you will hear about once the rest of the team get home you could not have asked for better weather, roads, people, everything basically.
My trip home was a little steady due to a blown fork seal and having a rather undesirable back tyre but many thanks to our Sweeper Barry (Very Happy) and Andy for being part of the 'Slow' crew home which helped keep my sanity intact for the most part.
A couple of pictures for you no doubt there will be many more up over the next couple of days.
Cheers

Well done.

It was a big run but well and truly worth it. The 2 days home seemed bigger due to having to take it steady for 1500km with the issue's i had.

The Great Northern Adventure was truely that , a great northern adventure. Fantastic trip, people , roads and weather, every day. Thanks Troppo and Wayne for putting up photos already. Shane has my camera card so maybe he might put some up. I cannot be any happier about the well planned and organized trip. Barry expressed the same too and to pass it on . The whole trip was a highlight but if I had to pick one location that I would like to go back to it would be the Lions Den Hotel up near Cooktown. The corrigated iron and old timber rustic shack of a building ,real Queensland bush feel , and the backpacker barstaff were not hard on the eyes either !.
I was one of the lucky ones bringing my B King home without any damage.[ not like my last trip ] Biker
5425k round trip for me .

Thanks very much Very Happy
